How we do it

Step One

Before a project is undertaken, a design of the future product is sketched on paper, including detailed specifications of colors, shapes, and sizes.

To create a prototype, cardboard is used to accurately represent the dimensions. Once the design is finalized, the master purchases glass in the appropriate colors and proceeds with the fabrication process.

Step Two

The stained glass is carefully cut into precise pieces, usually with a tolerance of 0.10 mm, using specialized tools.

These glass pieces are then wrapped with copper tape, which is carefully applied around the edges. Initially, the individual glass pieces are assembled to form flat planes.

Step Three

Next, the flat planes are meticulously welded together to create a three-dimensional object. Skilled craftsmanship ensures that the seams are precisely aligned and securely joined.

Depending on the desired aesthetic, the seams may be treated with materials such as black, copper, or gold patina.

Step Four

Once the assembly is complete, the finished product undergoes a thorough cleaning process to remove any residue or imperfections.

Attention is given to ensure the glass surfaces are sparkling and free from blemishes.

Step Five

After cleaning, the electrical components are integrated into the design. An electric lamp is carefully inserted and secured within the product.

The necessary adjustments are made to ensure proper electrical functioning.

Step Six

Finally, with the lamp in place and the electrical adjustments finalized, the product is considered ready for use or display.

The result is a beautifully crafted stained glass item that brings together artistry, skill, and functionality.
