For Hanukkah, I had the studio of an amazing artist/architect in Ukraine (Ostap “Maestro” Pavlovsky) create these 8 stained glass houses (together with one grand synagogue). They are colored glass homes modeled from those found in the historic Jewish quarter of Lviv, Ukraine. Each was hand made this year during the war. While the synagogue stays lit every night of Hannukah, one additional home becomes illuminated as our 8 nights progress. I found little rabbis that stand between the houses and each of them holds a candle when it’s their turn as well. Happy 5th night of Hannukah!
